Volcano NFT becomes an overnight crypto sensation. Sells volcano painting NFT (non-fungible asset) on the Open Sea platform for approximately $125,000 crypto currency equivalent.

Visits Iceland to paint erupting volcanoes. Dramatically creates NFT art by flying unfurled canvas by drone into the centre of erupting volcano.

Invited by 10 Downing Street to paint the two critical care nurses who saved the Prime Minister’s life as part of a series of healthcare workers. The two portraits are currently on display outside the Prime Minister’s office in Downing Street.

Max’s first solo exhibition, ‘The Heart of London’ takes place in the Scarsdale Tavern, Kensington & Chelsea. The exhibition was a sell-out in its first two days.

Commissioned by Team GB to paint its collection of Olympic torches.

Commissioned by Mayfair private club, 5 Hertford Street to undertake a series of paintings for the club.

Invited into Number 10 Downing Street as the first artist in three decades to undertake a painting of No.10’s iconic façade.
May 2018
Green Park’s HSBC branch purchases a print of Max’s painting ‘The Ritz’. Max receives sponsorship from Fuller’s Brewery and Prudence Cummings.

Sky Arts discuss a future TV program with Max called ‘Art in the Extreme’. Involving him and other artists traveling around the world to capture in paint the roughest parts of the planet.
